Films on Demand, AVOD and Credo move to new platform December 15

We are excited to announce that Films on Demand (FOD), Access Video on Demand (AVOD) and Credo will be moving to a new platform with a single, consistent interface. These updates will be applied to NC LIVE’s subscriptions on December 15, 2025.

Updates:

  • Consistent product interface on an integrated platform. Users will be able to search products (FOD, AVOD, Credo) separately or together, and toggle between products on the same interface.
  • Enhanced accessibility features to support all users and meet the required WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • Improved mobile access for seamless viewing on any device
  • Refreshed embedded media players for a more intuitive and engaging experience
  • Federated search allowing users to see results from inside and outside Infobase products
  • All existing URLs will redirect to the new platform for a smooth transition

Films On Demand, Access Video On Demand, and Credo Reference will move to the new platform on December 15, 2025, and the following additional NC LIVE products will join them throughout the next several months:

  • Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center

  • Access Video On Demand: Just For Kids

    • Public Libraries will default to Access Video on Demand content, and users can view Films on Demand content by toggling to the resource at the top of the page

  • Films on Demand: https://resources.nclive.org/filmsondemand

    • Academic Libraries will default to Films on Demand content, and users can view Access Video on Demand content by toggling to the resource at the top of the page
