We want to let you know that the following features are included in your NoveList Plus subscription through NC LIVE. These features may increase the discovery of your library materials through NoveList and improve the experience for your users. If you are interested in implementing either of these options, please reach out to novelist [at] ebsco.com with your library name and the features you are interested in.
The features available:
1. A link back to your library catalog from the NoveList results page and detailed record page. You can customize the wording on the link, but it could say something like "search for this title in the library catalog." If users click on the link, they will be taken directly to a search for that title in your library catalog to check its availability.
- If you are interested in enabling this option, you will need to send NoveList the public link to your library catalog search, or discovery search.
2. A message on the NoveList search results page and detailed record page indicating if the title is held or not held at your library. The note would say "Notes: an ebook is held for this title."
- If you are interested in enabling this option you will need to FTP an ILS export of all of your ISBNs to NoveList regularly (they recommend monthly). NoveList Support will walk you through sending the initial export and explain how to keep it up to date.
- If you would like to include NC LIVE ebooks from the HomeGrown Collection and hoopla in the list of holdings you send to NoveList, you can find titles lists with ISBNs for these collections on our Title Lists page.
