Code Of Conduct

At NC LIVE events, we value the presence and active participation of all attendees. Our goal is to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment where every participant feels comfortable engaging and contributing to the shared experience. By joining us, you agree to uphold the following principles:

  1. Responsibility: All participants are responsible for contributing to the quality of the event by being present, prepared, attentive, and engaged throughout. It is our shared responsibility to address instances of harassment, intimidation, and discrimination.
  2. Open Communication: We encourage open communication by both speaking and actively listening, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to contribute and be heard.
  3. Respectful Engagement: When discussing challenging or sensitive topics, we approach them with respect and care, recognizing diverse perspectives and experiences.
  4. Assumption of Positive Intent: We assume positive intent in our interactions and give others the benefit of the doubt, fostering a culture of trust and understanding.
  5. Prompt Reporting: Incidents of harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any form should be reported promptly to NC LIVE staff who are conducting the event, or to help [at] nclive.org. We are committed to addressing concerns and maintaining a safe environment for all participants.

We value your presence and constructive participation in our shared community and thank you for your attention to the comfort and safety of fellow NC LIVE collaborators and attendees.
