This is so users will be able to select their library from the list on the hoopla login page, to create an account and login using their library barcode.

In the coming weeks, hoopla will begin reaching out to NC LIVE public libraries to see if they would like to integrate their ILS with the hoopla login process. This is so users will be able to select their library from the list on the hoopla login page, to create an account and login using their library barcode. After hoopla completes the login setup with public libraries, they will be reaching out to NC LIVE academic libraries, to add their libraries to the hoopla website. See below for more details.
NC LIVE recently purchased 204 ebooks and 2 audiobooks in 2022 with your HomeGrown pledge donations. These new titles are now available. Ebooks have been loaded into Biblioboard, and audiobooks are available in Biblioboard and hoopla. Thank you to all libraries who contributed!
Title Lists
The NC LIVE HomeGrown Collection is now set up as an Institutional Repository in Summon. This means that you can subscribe to the NC LIVE HomeGrown Collection using a separate database code, DBID:(BXBCN), in the Ex Libris Client Center. We made this change so the collection would be easier to manage in the Summon Client Center. The discoverability of the titles will remain the same from the user's perspective.
The 2022-2023 NC LIVE password is now available. The current NC LIVE password (2021-2022) will expire on October 1, 2022. Both passwords will work until October 1, at which point the 2021-2022 passwords will expire.
Please distribute the new NC LIVE password to your staff and patrons as appropriate. Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk for your new password.
