The updated version of the NC LIVE usage statistics portal is now available!
The refreshed portal offers libraries a clearer view of e-resource usage data with a more intuitive interface and extra features, including:
- Custom Reports — tailor your reports by choosing the resources, metrics, and libraries you want to see.
- Data Dashboard* — see a summary of usage for your library for the past month, including the top used resource.
- Primary Metrics — this option selects a single recommended metric (full-text views, searches, etc.) for each resource that best reflects usage.
- Peer Report* — easily download data for multiple peer libraries to see side-by-side comparisons.
COMING SOON:
- Usage Graphs — soon, you’ll be able to generate custom graphs to visualize usage of NC LIVE resources by your library and peer institutions across time.
As with the original portal, only data for NC LIVE resources is available. Data will still be added monthly.
Both versions of the usage statistics page will be available until February 2026, and then the old version will be retired. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Help Desk.
*These features are only fully available if you are logged into the NC LIVE website as your library. If you are not logged in, the data dashboard will not generate, and your suggested peer libraries will not auto-populate in the form.
