Updates and news

The COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the world’s people, institutions and economy.  In order to limit the virus’ spread, countries have prohibited group gatherings, closed most places of business and cultural institutions like libraries, and sealed national borders.  The effect has been disorientating to all. Routines have been broken, livelihoods jeopardized, social interactions “distanced,” normal life disrupted.

We at NC LIVE would like to share some important information about our services during the COVID-19 crisis.

·      NC LIVE resources remain available to all NC member libraries and associated patrons with internet access.

·      Per North Carolina State University guidelines, NC LIVE staff will be working remotely until notified that it is safe to return to the office.

·      In-person NC LIVE events in March and April have been cancelled for the safety of staff and attendees.  We will await further information before deciding whether or not it is safe to host our Annual Conference on May 18.

RBdigital will be taking the platform administrative site down for maintenance on Wednesday, March 18. The process will begin at 5 a.m. ET and take 30 minutes or less.
If you have any questions, please email or contact the NC LIVE Help Desk at

MCNC will be performing infrastructure upgrades on Sunday, March 8, from 12:01AM to 6:00AM.
The NC LIVE website and NC LIVE proxies may experience a loss of connectivity for approximately 30-60 minutes during this maintenance window.
