Updates and news

We at NC LIVE would like to share some important information about our services during the COVID-19 crisis.

·      NC LIVE resources remain available to all NC member libraries and associated patrons with internet access.

·      Per North Carolina State University guidelines, NC LIVE staff will be working remotely until notified that it is safe to return to the office. 

·      In-person NC LIVE events in March and April have been cancelled for the safety of staff and attendees.  We will await further information before deciding whether or not it is safe to host our Annual Conference on May 18.

RBdigital will be taking the platform administrative site down for maintenance on Wednesday, March 18. The process will begin at 5 a.m. ET and take 30 minutes or less.

MCNC will be performing infrastructure upgrades on Sunday, March 8, from 12:01AM to 6:00AM. 
The NC LIVE website and NC LIVE proxies may experience a loss of connectivity for approximately 30-60 minutes during this maintenance window.

All Summon/ 360 Link libraries should consider changing a setting in their Summon admin counsel to allow full-text to display properly in the newest version of Google Chrome. The newest release of Google Chrome impacts the display of full-text with the 360Link sidebar from Summon search results. Please email the NC LIVE Help Desk for more information on how to make this change.
