Updates and news

Due to database upgrades, the NC LIVE website, nclive.org, may experience 5-10 minutes of downtime between the hours of 6:00am and 8:00am on Tuesday, December 18th.

Alexander Street Press has been having issues with their statistics software for the last couple of months. According to our contact there, there was a problem with their logging software and statistics for October and November were not recorded properly, resulting in all of our libraries have extremely low usage, if any usage was reported at all.

They believe the issue has now been resolved, so we will be able to report accurate statistics going forward.

NC LIVE subscribes to one Alexander Street Press collection, North American Women's Letters and Diaries.

January 25, 2019 Update:

This issue has been resolved. Films on Demand titles discovered in Summon now link to the correct film in the Films on Demand Platform.

Summon Libraries:

No action is needed, though please note Ex Libris migrated all NC LIVE libraries to a new database collection. The database title remains the same: Films on Demand & Access Video on Demand (NC Live only) with the database code changed from W4- to NCLKS. If you currently use Summon and still see the W4- database code, please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk

On January 9, 2019 Credo will be removing 15 titles from Academic Core and 31 titles from Complete Core. Brief information is available below, though Credo will be reaching out to Academic Core subscribers only with complete details, options for acquiring deleted titles, and MARC delete files - look for this email in the coming week.

Academic Core (most Community College, UNC, & NCICUs) - 15 outdated and very low-use titles will be removed
