NC LIVE has recently added the following resource to our collection -- North Carolina State Publications Collection.
http://www.nclive.org/cgi-bin/nclsm?rsrc=239
Created and maintained by the State Library of North Carolina this digital collection contains current and historical North Carolina state publications. Includes informational brochures and pamphlets, various reports (annual, biennial, technical, statistical, etc.), serials (newsletters, checklists, magazines, etc.), handbooks, studies, and a variety of other information resources produced by North Carolina state government.
The focus of the collection is on state government publications from 2002 to current, but also features historical North Carolina publications of enduring value that have been scanned from their original print format. New publications will be added to the collection monthly.
It is accessible from the "North Carolina" page on NC LIVE.
Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!

ccess to Health. It will redirect to NC Health Info.
- Oncolink : A University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center Resource: It will redirect to a new resource - National Cancer Institute.
The following resources will be added to the site:
- National Cancer Institute
- Merck Manual Home Edition
- Lab Tests Online
- KidsHealth
- NIH SeniorsHealth.gov
- MedlinePlus Drugs & Supplements
- National Institute of Mental Health
- Go Ask Alice
More information will be sent next week after the transition is made and direct links will be provided for each new resource.
A BIG thank you goes to the NC Health Info Steering Committee for the recommendations. They are helping us ensure that the free resources we provide to supplement our purchased collection are of the highest quality.
As always, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
On Friday, we sent a message stating that the Greenwood MARC records had
been corrected and were once again available for download. However, on
Monday (6/2) a few of you alerted us to lingering issues with some of
the links in the records.
The MARC records were then removed Monday afternoon to correct the
problem. The updated file was re-posted on Tuesday morning (6/3).
If you did happen to import the records between Friday and Tuesday AM,
then you will need to return to our page and download the updated file.

We apologize for all of the inconvenience while we worked with Greenwood
and OCLC to sort out the issue.
Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
This is just a reminder that the following resources are no longer available through NC LIVE. Please make sure that you remove any links on your web site, or records in your catalog that point directly to the following NC LIVE resources:
Daily Life Through History
Historic Events of the 20th Century
Critical Companions to Popular Contemporary Writers
Literature in Context
All of these NC LIVE provided resources now point to information which is now available through the Greenwood Digital Collection:

In addition, we have had to temporarily remove the new Greenwood MARC records pending corrections with the American Slavery titles. We'll get these back up as soon as possible. If you have already downloaded the file, we'll update you on the necessary corrections.
Start Squad will be temporarily removed from the NC LIVE site, until they complete some technical upgrades to the site. It should be back up and running in the next day or so.
Let us know if you have any questions.
