Surry Community College Library eBooks Widget

LibraryThing For Libraries (LTFL) lets you create free, interactive book display widgets to showcase your library's ebook and physical book collections. These widgets can be embedded on a library website or LibGuide, and are completely customizable. This service is provided through NC LIVE's ProQuest subscription and supported by LibraryThing For Libraries staff members.

All NC LIVE member libraries have access to a LTFL account with all ebrary Academic Library Complete titles pre-loaded. You can easily add ebrary Public Library Complete and e-Libro titles, as well as your library's local holdings.

To get started creating book display widgets for your library:

1)  Set up an ebrary account with your email address, and request admin privileges by contacting the NC LIVE Help Desk.

2)  Contact Kirsten Griffith at LibraryThing For Libraries, kirsten@librarything.com.  Let her know that you are an NC LIVE member library and that you would like to set up a LibraryThing For Libraries account.

3)  Once your have your LibraryThing For Libraries account, schedule a one-on-one webinar with Kirsten to get started, view this short summary video, or attend her weekly webinar (Thursdays at 11am EST).  You can also visit this link for basic instructions.

Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk if you have any questions.
