How can I get a password to use NC LIVE from home?

All NC LIVE resources require users to log-in, unless you are physically located at a North Carolina library. This is due to the legal agreements required by the vendors we purchase resources from.

Passwords to NC LIVE are only available to registered individual borrowers at public libraries, and faculty, staff, and students at participating academic institutions. Remote access is not available to corporate and other libraries that are not members of an NC LIVE community of interest.

Please contact your local library staff and they will be able to instruct you on accessing NC LIVE's resources from outside the library.

If you attend a college or university that utilizes a single login for verifying your identity, you should access the NC LIVE resources from your library's web site.

Click here to access your libraries web site for contact information.

If it is outside library hours and you need reference assistance or materials, you may want to try NCknows, North Carolina's 24 hour library reference service.
